Supreme Court Rules Gay Rights Do Not Extend to Dessert
A divided Supreme Court on Monday absolved a Colorado baker of discrimination for refusing to create a custom wedding cake for a same-sex couple, ruling that the state exhibited "religious hostility" against him.

But what message do we send if we legitimize discrimination against the LGBTQ community? Refusing to recognize the civil rights of this community equates with saying that these individuals are second-class, and can be treated accordingly.

Plus, it is just plain cruel to deny the gays their dessert.

CNN's Anthony Bourdain dead at 61
This gutted me. One of the most notable things about Anthony Bourdain was the simple way in which Bourdain treated people wherever he went like human beings, with all of their human virtues and flaws. The people he met, and Bourdain himself, were often generous, sometimes frustrating, always complicated. They weren't cardboard cutouts of a culture; he wasn't a caricature of an entitled globetrotter.

I am so ready for this. A Star Is Born marks Cooper’s debut as a feature director. Now if only Cooper would speak in French throughout the entire movie, I'd be elated.
It's a big move, and a welcomed one. Gretchen Carlson, a former Miss America who is head of the organization's board of trustees, also says the group will make changes to the evening wear portion of the competition, adding it will not judge women on their chosen attire.

Moving forward the women will be wearing the costumes from The Handmaid's Tale.
Everyone should be able to come out on their own terms. And as often as they want to.
This went off the rails fast and it was hilarious! It sure looks like filing Ocean's 8 looked like it must have been a blast to film.

Of Course Trump Doesn't Know the Words to ‘God Bless America’
This is probably one of two songs the dude should know the words to. Plus, this song is much easier to remember lyrically than the "Star Spangled Banner."

Thank God! The U.S. needs someone who knows what they're doing present for all of this.
Which is amazing. But. What he didn't do was pardon her. So, she still has the crime on her record. She can't vote, she can't easily get financial aid for education, any landlord can deny her a place to live... The list goes on. I'm happy for Johnson, but Trump should have pardoned her.
Hmm. Playing to the base much? His Tweet read: The appointment of the Special Councel (sic) is totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Despite that, we play the game because I, unlike the Democrats, have done nothing wrong! "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

Jeff Sessions Goes After Coverage for Pre-Existing Conditions
The U.S. Justice Department made an unusual argument to a federal court last night, claiming that Obamacare’s protections for people with pre-existing medical conditions are unconstitutional. Roughly 1 in 4 Americans have pre-existing conditions that would make it difficult to buy insurance without those protections. If the DOJ is successful, millions of American could be denied the ability to buy health insurance.

Despite the commission being formed after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre, gun safety is "not part of the commission’s charge, per se,” DeVos told members of Congress. What the serious fuck is wrong with DeVos?
He didn't and he doesn't think that he needs to. Seriously, Bill? You definitely need to apologize to Monica Lewinsky.
I will say this once again, how does this guy still have a job?
